THOUSANDS OF PATIENTS DYING NEEDLESSLY IN HOSPITALS:WHY?
”Every year at least 18000 people die in hospital from side effects and at least a quarter of them could have been prevented,” said Dr Tim Woodruff, President, Doctors Reform Society.
"That's the same as 10 full jumbo jets crashing with no survivors every year for 10 years", said Dr Woodruff. "If that happened in Australia the aviation industry would be turned on its head."
"But 10 years after our Governments were told about this ongoing disaster, virtually nothing has happened. Experts say the figures are almost certainly unchanged (Australian 28/5).
Why are our leaders sitting on their hands? Why wont they act? Why don't they seem to care about an ongoing preventable disaster? Why do they call themselves our leaders?
