So very wrong

Judy Thallur, when accessing a GP is compared to buying a ticket on a plane (25/7), we know we are in trouble. Those patients who can afford to buy a ticket in a three-tiered health system may find it fine, but 14 per cent of sick Australians surveyed last year by the Commonwealth Fund had failed to attend their doctor when sick because of costs and 23 per cent had failed to fill a prescription. So much for customer satisfaction. The survey didn't bother to ask them if they had failed to buy an airline ticket.
